RIDOT permits

How Rhode Island sizes up a heavy load

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) issues oversize and overweight permits through its online permit portal, under R.I. Gen. Laws chapter 31-25 and the Rhode Island permit rules in 290-RICR-40-00-1. These are the numbers we plan every Rhode Island load with. Run your exact load and route through our permit tool to see every state on the trip.
