How we plan a Wyoming load
Every Wyoming move starts with a permit from the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Our permitting team checks the size, weight and route against the WYDOT rules, then sets the escorts and travel windows the permit calls for.
On two lane highways, a load 14'W or wider, or 110'L or longer, runs with an escort in front and one behind. On interstates and four lane divided highways, escorts start at 15'W.
Over 18'W, 17'H, 120'L or 160,000 lbs gross, the load is a super load, approved by the WHP Overweight Loads Office. Our 22 axle setups carry loads up to 300,000 lbs.
