Maine loads, planned in house
We are USDOT 3906954 and MC 1441035. We haul single pieces from 70,000 up to 300,000 lbs on 8 to 22 axle setups. Our in house permitting team pulls permits in every state on the route, including Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) oversize and overweight permits for Maine, and our own escorts and utility bucket trucks run with the load.

Before the move
How we plan a Maine load
Every Maine move starts with an overlimit permit from the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), filed online through MoveMEMaine. Our permitting team checks the size, weight and route against the Maine overlimit rules in 29-250 CMR ch. 157, then sets the pilot cars and travel windows the permit calls for.
Over 12'W, over 80'L, or with more than 5' of rear overhang, a pilot car runs with the load, and at 16'W or 125'L a police escort is added. Maine moves run in daylight, from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset, and never on legal holidays or holiday weekends.
The Maine Turnpike has its own limits of 13'6"H and 14'6"W and its own permit, so taller and wider loads route off the Turnpike. Loads above the BMV weight table are extreme loads and may need a MaineDOT engineering review. Our 22 axle setups carry loads up to 300,000 lbs.
