Before the move
How we plan a Indiana load
Every Indiana move starts with the oversize/overweight permit from the Indiana Department of Revenue. Our permitting team checks the size, weight and route against Indiana's permit provisions, then sets the escorts, height stick and travel windows the permit calls for.
Over 15'H, a signal contractor with a bucket truck goes with the load off the interstate. Over 17'W, the load runs with front and rear police escorts.
The state permit does not cover county roads or city streets, so we plan those legs with the local authority.
