SGI permits

How Saskatchewan sizes up a heavy load

The SGI Permit Office issues oversize and overweight permits for Saskatchewan's provincial highways and provincial roads, under section 36 of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, and the Ministry of Highways sets the permit conditions. Saskatchewan sizes are metric, so every number here has feet and inches added. These are the rules we plan Saskatchewan loads with, from the Ministry of Highways permit page and permit guidelines, The Vehicle Weight and Dimension Regulations, 2010 and the Saskatchewan Truckers' Guide.
