How North Carolina sizes up a heavy load

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Oversize/Overweight Permit Unit issues single trip and annual permits through its online Permit Information Management System (PIMS); faxed applications are no longer accepted. These are the numbers we plan every North Carolina load with. Run your exact load and route through our permit tool to see every state on the trip.
